2. Design & Build
Building your site from scratch includes coding of the base structure and a design that defines your brand with a great user experience, as well as the integration of the front-end look and feel I will ensure everything is easily editable via the backend CMS. My goal is to ensure you have the ability to make the changes you need to your site without added developer costs down the line.
Selling online? For eCommerce websites, I integrate all the shopping functionality and structure your store needs to sell effectively and the way you want. 3. Testing
I thoroughly test your website, communicating with you and your team for feedback on any snagging issues. Minor faults are addressed straight away and I support your team with uploading content and getting your website ready for launch.

I charge by the project, not by the hour. This means I will give you a quote for the completion of the project as defined and you won’t have to pay for each little addition or change of mind (within reason). The project is over when you are happy with it. I ask for 50% to start work and the balance upon main delivery (i.e. when my part is done). On most projects post-delivery support, tweaks and advice are always included free of charge.
As for cost, each project is unique so a meaningful range is impossible to give. But give me some details and I will give you an idea as soon as possible.
Yes, it will be optimized for all screen sizes from smartphones to jumbo desktop screens. No pinching or zooming to read the pages.
Yes, sort of. Obviously I don’t run any data-centers and I am not a hosting provider but I can set you up with premium optimized hosting and manage it all for you. You will get fast, secure hosting with the latest software and configurations and I will take care of any hosting issue that may come up as if it were one of my own sites. I’ll even move your site over from your current host and change the DNS settings for you.
Hosting features include a staging site, a faster and hardened server, malware protection, an SSL certificate (enables https pages), automatic daily full backups and access to a CDN (speeds up the site for geographically distant visitors). Obviously, you still get direct access to your site’s content admin just as you do right now.
On top of getting full hosting peace of mind, you’ll save a few £ per month compared to getting your own equivalent premium hosting account.
